What should I bring?
Dress for the outdoors — layers are your best friend on the water. We recommend a waterproof jacket, comfortable non-slip footwear, and warm clothing even in summer. Sunscreen and sunglasses are a good idea on bright days. Don't worry if you don't have a waterproof layer — we have dryrobes available on board. There's no need to bring food or drink for a 2-hour tour, but you're welcome to bring a small snack or water bottle.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety comes first. If conditions are unsuitable for departure, we'll contact you as early as possible to reschedule at no extra cost. Tours that are cancelled by us are fully reschedulable or refundable. If you'd like to cancel or reschedule yourself, please get in touch at least 24 hours before your departure time and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Is the tour accessible?
Boarding The Reaper requires stepping down onto a working vessel, which may involve an uneven or moving surface. If you or someone in your group has mobility considerations, please contact us before booking so we can advise on suitability and make any arrangements we can to help. We want everyone to enjoy the experience safely.
Where exactly do I meet you?
We depart from Cheekpoint Quay, Cheekpoint, Co. Waterford. Look for The Reaper moored at the pontoon — your guide will be there to meet you 10 minutes before departure. Parking is available at the quay. If you're coming by car, Cheekpoint Quay on Google Maps is the easiest way to navigate there.
